The International Alliance for Peace and Development (IAPD) organizes a Youth training program on International Human Rights Mechanisms
(Geneva, Switzerland)
The training program is designed for youth from 18-30 years old who are interested in promoting peace and development.
The International Alliance for Peace and Development (IAPD) is a non-governmental organization composed of 17 different organizations from 16 different countries from (Europe, Africa and the Middle East) and headquartered in Geneva.
The main goal of the IAPD is to bring together youth from all over the world and raise awareness on peace making and to mobilize efforts to make initiatives engaging in the development processes and promoting for peace.
The IAPD has designed a 6-day training program merges between classroom sessions and practical participation only for youth on the UN Human Rights Council Mechanisms for protecting human rights and that is on the margins of the 34th Universal Periodic Review session in the UN.
The training takes place from 8 to 15 November for participants outside Geneva and from 9 to 14 November for Geneva residents.
The training language is English only.
