Stop Human Trafficking: International Alliance for Peace and Development condemns trafficking in persons phenomena

 

In conjunction with world day against trafficking in Persons 30 July, International Alliance for Peace and Development condemns trafficking in persons phenomena. Trafficking in persons is a serious crime and a grave violation of human rights. Every year, thousands of men, women and children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their own countries and abroad. Almost every country in the world is affected by trafficking, whether as a country of origin, transit or destination for victims.

According to the International Alliance, the phenomenon of trafficking in persons beings is a form of organized international crime and represents slavery in modern times. Where victims of human trafficking are lured by deception or coercion and trafficked between countries and regions and deprived of their autonomy and freedom of movement and choice and subjected to various forms of physical and psychological abuse. Trafficking is divided into three main types: trafficking for forced labor; trafficking for sexual exploitation; trafficking in human organs.

The International Alliance calls for the implementation of the goals of sustainable development 2030 adopted by the world in 2015, which calling for the elimination of all forms of trafficking in and violence against children as well as Its call for necessary measures against human trafficking and for the elimination of all forms of violence against women and girls. International Alliance also Calls for the solidarity of the international community to end this phenomenon, and imposes sanctions against countries that help spread this phenomenon. The International Alliance calls for the development of international mechanisms to reduce this phenomenon.
